Our story begins in 2015 when we recognised:

• How South Africa could have been leveraging the growing SME sector for economic development (like most successful economies) but was not.

• How South Africa could have been delivering globally successful businesses at a rate well ahead of comparative economies (given its comparative advantages) but was not.x

 

We concluded, from our observations, that the missing link was lack of access to finance for emerging businesses. The existing financial ecosystems, then as now, excluded this segment of the business community, with far-reaching implications for these businesses and the broader national economy. This is the reality we set off to change.

• Hundreds of SMEs we have supported to date, across many sectors.

• The number of successful projects we have powered.

• The number of jobs we have realised, directly and indirectly.

 

Driven to become the most successful SME finance partner in the continent, this is only the beginning.
